Winter Solstice Yoga

The Winter Solstice goes by many names and has been celebrated across the globe for centuries. Depending on how you look at it, it's the shortest day and the longest night of the year and marks the return of the Sun. Ancient yogic philosophy believes that the Summer and Winter solstices are the two most important days of the year, and if we show up for ourselves our whole year will be blessed.
In this yoga class, I'll guide you through a slow and gentle practice designed to help you energetically and physically release and cleanse any low vibrations or darkness that may have accumulated over the year. Once we make space for the energy we want to bring in, I'll guide you through an intention setting process to help set you up for the best start to the New Year. This class is suitable for ALL levels and will consist of meditation, gentle movement, and breath work. This offering is donation-based for those who can, and free for those who cannot.
